Second Grade
The 2nd grade had a wonderful Prairie Day at the MacKenzie's home. They made their own fishing poles then fished for a while. They made old fashioned rag dolls and homemade butter! A horse and buggy ride brought the days of Little House on the Prairie to life. Thanks Mr. and Mrs. MacKenzie for opening your home to us!
Mrs. Ludwig's class had a wonderful time in Huntsville, Alabama at the NASA Space and Rocket Center. The students enjoyed touring the museum, watching an I-Max movie about walking on the moon, climbing the "Mars" rock wall, and even riding the "space rides." This was a perfect way to conclude the 2nd grade's study of space this year.
