Bible reading:

History:

  • The early history of the United States of America, from the discovery of the land by Europeans through its independence.

Science:

  • The Animal Kingdom and their Habitats

Reading:

  • A Beka Phonics, First Grade

Literature books the children will read include:

  • Caps for Sale
  • The Little House
  • The Drinking Gourd
  • Blueberries for Sal
  • Nate the Great
  • Bears on Hemlock Mountain
